I knew my old water heater was failing so I contacted constellation home. Craig my salesman was courteous and helpful and I got a good deal on a 50gal water heater and installation was prompt. I had to have my hot water heater replaced, and the entire experience was painless from beginning to end, beginning with the technician that checked the old water heater. After he assessed the condition of the water heater, he explained that he would call the plumber who in turn would call me to discuss a time for them to arrive. Prior to his arrival, a Constellation salesperson called to give me the price for the new heater, along with every service that was included in the price. This seamless experience culminated with the installation being performed by Jared, who arrived when promised, explained the process beforehand, worked and answered all of my questions after the installation was done, including letting me know when the inspection will be completed by WSSC. He was the consummate professional and represents Constellation well! Highly recommended!

They did a great job. Andrew was the one who came and worked on our air conditioning unit, and he was super professional. He kept everything clean as he worked, didn’t leave anything behind inside or outside, and was extremely helpful and patient when explaining how the new system worked. On June 12 2025 constellation crew came to my house to install a brand new A/C system & did it in a professional manner. The crews were consisted of three guys namely Brad, Josh & Philip, These three guys have different tasks and knowledge but works seamlessly together. Josh came first & put the tarps on the floor to prevent the floor from dirt & did the leg work for Brad the Brad came in & got to business right away.Philip the plumber came afterwards & did his job accordingly. These guys are very friendly, very professional & dedicated to their profession & their company. Thank you for the good work.

My parent's and I have been dealing with Constellation Home for over 20 years. I cannot stress enough how much I would highly recommend them and how professional and courteous their customer service reps and technicians are. We recently upgraded our AC unit and had a small hiccup. I think it was with the software regarding the thermostat. In any event, they came out the same day and fixed the issue. Now that I know they do plumbing and appliance repairs, I will certainly keep them in mind for any future repairs that may be needed. The only thing that I am sad to see go is that they are no longer our energy supplier. This is the result of new laws Maryland passed and have taken effect. Maryland has now reverted back to a utility monopoly state. Customers no longer have energy options. Very sad!

I don’t leave a lot of reviews because there aren’t a lot of first rate experiences out there. Constellations installation, staff, process, and effort is absolutely first-rate, though, and I’m glad I found them. Phillip and Daniel came to my house To install an electric vehicle charger and they went above and beyond. Some of the work involved, making sure that the installation was hidden or at least pleasant to look at, and they did all that too. And they did not even hint at leaving until the job was absolutely finished, and I was completely satisfied. On top of all this the price was absolutely right. I’ll be calling them again for just about anything they do.

When our furnace was condemned on a cold Monday in February we were of course nervous. Constellation came through with a good price and installed by Friday of the same week. Steele and Dan were very professional and courteous and kind during the installation day. Tom did a great job of walking us through the options and setting up for a quick install and even loan dose a couple of space heaters. Thank the Lord that we had a wood burning fireplace and over half a cord of available wood so the house kept warm all week.

They went over the job plan with me and asked if we had any questions before, during and after the job. Once job was completed they explained each component of the system and again, made sure we were comfortable with operating instructions. They explained our follow up steps with inspectors as well as required maintenance. Andrew Koller and co-worker are top notch. Have been using their maintenance plan for several years on our heat pump and water heater. Worth every penny. When it came time to replace the heat pump their staff was fast, thorough, kind, and took the time to answer all our questions. Heat pump installation crew was awesome! Saidu led his team, Gabriel and Dominic to a perfect install. They cleaned up and then showed me around to see everything they had done with great pride in their work. We’ll be sticking with these folks for the foreseeable future. They have the size to respond quickly and provide great pricing, couple that with their awesome customer service and it’s a no brainer.

Mr. Craig Rogers was dispatched to our home the day after Christmas when our heat went out. We were the last call on a day I assumed was quite busy for him. Once he knew the motor was working he could have easily packed up and gone home. Instead, he took the time to make sure everything was working, and right before he left, he realized the motor had died. He had to replace the motor and made sure we had heat. Mr. Rogers was thorough, courteous, and very professional. He was a blessing to our family that night. We thanked and wished him a Happy New Year!

Thank You Constellation!!! Our project was a huge home improvement, installing central air with duct work, to our 1964 colonial. Constellation met the challenge from the moment they walked in, providing a thorough proposal and contract, to the team’s arrival, to their last day of work. I would like to give recognition to each team member who provided exceptionally work to make this happen: Ed G, Edgar M, Luis D, Eric W, Jesus C, Marcos M, and let's not forget the electricians Larry and Carlos. On a project like this, you get to know the team, and this team of Constellation HVAC experts were extremely professional and courteous. Each person took pride in their work, and it shows in the final product! We have central AC and can't wait for summer! We felt so confident when the work was completed and will definitely use Constellation for all of our service and work projects. Oh, one final note! Furnace replacement of Oil to Gas System.We went through several companies. Constellation by far had the best service from start to finish. They were so kind to consider a specific family situation and helped scheduled us in a timely manner.We exploded Chimney companies too.Constellation uses Ace of Chimmeys who we went with.Workmen # E 410666 &E084889 took out the oil furnace and connecting system and put in a new gas Furnace and connecting systems. They had to work late to get it done. I never heard complaints or fussing. They were very polite and pleasant the entire process.Good follow up by Mr. Dave ST. A

Pat was our technician and did an excellent and thorough inspection and repair. He started by checking the thermostat, indoor unit, filter and then the outdoor unit. It's July and my AC unit stopped working. Contacted Constellation Home over the phone hoping for a same day appointment. They were able to help me with this. They let me know it would be considered an "all day" appointment so they couldn't give me an actual window of time. Instead I would receive a call when the person was on the way. I received a courtesy call and Pat showed up within 20 minutes. Very polite and showed me exactly what was wrong with my AC unit. Fixed it quickly. Highly recommend this company!

Craig Rogers was the representative that was dispatched my home. He was very patient and thorough. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to HVAC systems, but he explained in a way that made sense. I had an exceptional experience with Constellation Home. I originally called company out for a yearly inspection and during the inspection, my thermostats was noted to be defaulted ( thermostat wouldn’t adjust lower than 75 degree) my technician, Gab N., was able to locate my warranty and my thermostat was still under warranty.My follow up call was within 2 days and thermostats was replaced within 5days. Gab N. was the same technician that returned. Thermostat was replaced swiftly and he was very resourceful on helping me set up and registering thermostat app on my cell phone before he left. He also left the working area clean.I am a happy customer and glad that I have Constellation home service plan.

Yesterday, 04/16/24, after my semi warm shower, I took a look at my hot water tank, only to find my basement was flooded. Less than 24 hours later Constellation had a new one installed and I have hot water! The original installer had a blow out on 95/24 exit. They kept in contact with me and another driver picked up the tank while a service crew changed his tire. Then both of them were working diligently on swapping water heaters and finished in an hour! Constellation Home Comfort Installer Karri'Em Gardner came to my home yesterday to remove our old and broken water heater, and install the new one we had just purchased, and I couldn't have been happier with the service. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and very patiently answered all my questions. He also handled the entire operation alone, which involved hefting the old unit up the basement stairs, and the new one down--both of which activities looked very scary to me. I upgraded my electric in order to have a level 2 charger installed for my car. This required adding another 200amp service. My current 200amp service is near max. The technicians came as scheduled and did a phenomenal job of not only installing the new panel and service but also fixing a lot of problems left by previous "electricians" who weren't as attentive to quality installation. Since it is an older house they had to upgrade the grounding and snaked a lot of grounding cable through my finished basement with no problem, or damage to the finished ceiling. Michael Myers and Jason Brandenburg were professional very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. The team lead on the design side, Mike Brady also stopped by and gave me good information on the charger and what to look for when using it with the mobile app. A great team to work with and who give me the confidence of a job done safely and professionally.

I had a great experience with my home, comfort installers, they all did a fantastic job! Kudos to hunter cool, Brock Nye, and Zach Campbell. Unfortunately, our unit went out and stopped working with 12 hours of having it installed, but seems like there was just a loose wire and everything is working great now. The install team came back out the very next day and was able to troubleshoot it and get our system back and running. Thanks for everything.

I noticed my heat pump fan would not shutoff. Don Settle arrived and found the issue in about 10 minutes. One of the wires was loose inside of the heat pump. After tightening the wire, checking connections and freon levels, and the furnace, the heat pump was back online.Don also said Rheem heat pumps are very well built and he has one at his house. He did say heat pumps now a days are made to last 10-15 years compared to older models of 20-30 years. This is due to cheaper materials and less copper.Don answered all of my questions and was very professional and polite. I would 100% recommend him.

We had an issue with our 75-gallon gas water heater pilot light. Since the unit was under warranty, we called the 24-hour hotline at 10 pm. A polite, courteous gentleman answered the call and scheduled an inspection for the very next morning. Meanwhile, we called our salesman Edward (who is great) and explained the problem to him. Within minutes, he got in touch with his manager, John, who dispatched a supervisor, Bruce, to do further diagnostic testing. His technicians, Mike and his helper, Ben, were sent the next day to fix the unit. The problem was taken care of and we had hot water the same day. During the whole process, the entire staff was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. In this day and age, when it is hard to get good service, it is extremely gratifying to have a satisfactory outcome to a serious problem. They stood behind the warranty that came with the unit. We highly recommend BGE Constellation.

My furnace had gone up on Tuesday in my house. The first tech Joel came out on Wednesday and looked at it and it required a little more work then expected. So he told me that he would be out Thursday morning with his Team Leader Kevin. Since my furnace wasn’t working I wasn’t in the house. They waited for me to arrive to the house, which was really thoughtful of them. They were able to fix my furnace 🙏🏾! Both Kevin and Joel did an amazing job getting it back up and running! I have been a BGE Home policy holder for many years and for the most part have been very satisfied with their service. Today, I had a scheduled AC check on both of my AC units. My Service Technician was a gentleman named Cameron Thomas. Mr. Thomas called ~1/2 hour before his arrival. When he arrived, he greeted me and was extremely friendly and personable. I am a clean freak and don't like shoes being worn in my house. Before making a move, and without being asked, Mr. Thomas put a pair of "booties" on over his work boots.I directed him to the first inside unit which was in the attic. The entry to the attic is in a bedroom that is my mother's. When he entered, he greeted her very kindly also. After checking the unit, Mr. Thomas informed me that he was going to install a float switch which was not currently installed. I have been in this house for 11 years and have had the unit checked every year and no one has ever mentioned the absence of the switch. Kudos to Mr. Thomas for going above and beyond his job duties.Mr. Thomas continued on with the rest of the inside and outside inspection.Upon completion, he asked if I have any questions or concerns, with no questions or concerns on my part, he offered up for me to have a great day and to enjoy the weather.Employees like Mr. Thomas, are the definition of how to contribute to a high performance team.Please extend my thanks and recognition to Mr. Thomas for a job well done.Thank you!!!

We have used BGE for a water heater replacement with a good experience and we always have them clean and inspect our HVAC system every spring and fall. However, this last time we have had a horrible experience. We had a technician come out to clean and inspect our air conditioner unit and he told us that a part needed to be replaced and that he would get back to me later that day with the estimate. I never heard back. Two weeks went by and I still did not hear anything, so I called to follow up and was told they would call me back. Another week by with no call back. I called again and spoke to someone who then told me to call the parts department. I called the parts department and they said that the technician supervisor would call me back that day since I never heard back from the technician. That was yesterday, and again no call. I have never had to work so hard to try to give a company money to fix something. Do they not want business?! Paying for the inspection was pointless because now I’m going to have to pay another company to come out, inspect and diagnose, and fix.*****5/12/21 Edited to add- the supervisor called me and apologized and the issue was addressed promptly. I appreciated his follow through and desire to make things right with the customer.******

We have the whole house service contract with BGE Home, we have actually has it for a good while. The staff at BGE Home have always been very helpful and friendly. We have never had any problems with our contract or our service.Whenever we have a service call in we know exactly what to expect. The service technicians have always been on point with getting this back up and working.I highly recommend BGE Home for your home service needs.

Getting in touch and scheduling an estimate was very timely. Everyone that I met throughout the entire process was very professional and knowledgeable. The team of installers/technicians were on time every day and did a fantastic job! They were also very respectful of the fact that I am currently working from home. Going into this project, I was very nervous because I had just bought this old house, but I was really impressed with how smoothly everything went. I would absolutely recommend BGE Home and use them for future projects.

We just had our central air unit replaced after being broken for years. We received 3 quotes and BGE Home was the lowest by a considerable amount. We had to wait briefly for equipment to come in, but they were great at scheduling the installation as soon as possible. The installation team arrived within the window (with a 10-minute heads-up call) and worked diligently to get everything done. Once the new unit was installed, they showed us all the new equipment and controls. They cleaned up quickly and hauled away the old unit. Definitely going to keep them on our list for services when we need things done in the future.

I was getting System malfunction alert on thermostat. I Scheduled the service appointment BGE sent a technician promptly who identified the problem, Ordered the part needed and fixed the unit. All done in 3 days. Heating was still working during this time.I’ve been using BGE for over a decade. Scheduling service is simple, one call does it all, technicians are trained, knowledgeable, and professional. I don’t remember one instance when I was not satisfied or had to call back with the same problem.

I am honored to have begun my journey with John Vardy and continued with Chuck, Harry, Neil and the amazing team of professionals who completely architected and expertly installed a new gas boiler with water heater with gas lines, pipe fittings in the snow and sleet, always cordial and professional. BGE rescued me during a time when other companies were offering partial solutions that were not as stable considering my homes historic status for at least 30% more. This was nothing short of a miracle find. Worth every dollar and then some. Thank you for the exceptional effort.

I had a most pleasant experience with our Technician, Cameron Thomas, today. He was knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Checked our A -Coil ,Evap Line , and Refrigerant and ultimately determined our system was low on refrigerant which is why it was freezing over. One of the best I've encountered.

My refrigerator freezer was not draining on the defrost cycle. Water/ice was building up in the freezer section. I have Smart Service so I contacted BGE Home and explained the problem. My appointment was verified prior to the appointment day. The service technician quickly went to work and cleared the blockage. This was a few weeks ago and the refrigerator continues to operate and drain perfectly. I am quite pleased with my Smart Service Plan and the response from BGE Home. Thank you for a job well done.

I've used BGE Home several times over the years. Always have been helpful and friendly. More than competent. They come, get the job done and leave without any nonsense. Most recently, my hot water tank went up. I got 8 quotes. They were the 2nd lowest. Because of my previous experience I went with them. In fact, they were recommended by one of the other plumbers that I got a quote from.

I just want to share an my amazing experience with BGE Home. Yesterday, my air conditioning unit wasn't blowing cold air. I have a service contract with BGE Home and called to see when I could get a technician out to look at it. I was shocked when they said they could have someone out the next day. The technician, Don Settle, was right on time, very knowledgeable with over 30 years with the company, and took care of the problem right away. I couldn't be happier with the quick response time, especially since It was 90 degrees yesterday and high 80's today. BGE Home did a great job for me. My heater wasn't working correctly. The serviceman came to my home and identified the problem and fixed it in reasonable time. It has been working fine ever since. In the winter time, you want to have heat. Nothing worse than a cold home, so BGE Home came thru again.

The window was provided and I was promised a call when the tech was on his way. I received a call from the Tech when he was on his way; within the window promised. The tech arrived and diagnosed the problem within minutes. Provided a quote. Replaced the fan. All within an hour and a half window. The HVAC unit is running smoothly without noises in the walls. We have heat!

I called BGE home to replace our old gas water heater that broke down. The phone call was answered promptly by Sharon. She methodically asked the details of the old water heater model number. She explained in detail the replacement options and cost breakdown. She scheduled the install appointment for the very next day. I had an electrical problem on Christmas Eve. Upon contacting BGE Home I was told that a technician would arrive at my residence within 1 hour. He arrived within that time frame and immediately began diagnosing my problem. His focus was on the job at hand. I am not sure who is responsible for the quality of customer service at BGE Homes, but they should teach other companies how to be effective in interacting with customers. BGE Homes customer service is by far the most consistently high quality customer service I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The reps are always pleasant and helpful. The service in general is of high quality. This is the only company that I use for the maintenance of my home from the electric to my boiler system. I feel like I am always in good hands.

Wonderful, polite, skilled, from phone staff to all technicians! They are efficient and do timely work. I recently relocated to area. I received a water bill for $98, called utility company as this was "impossible" for two elderly people. I called BGE to help me look for a leak. The well dressed & friendly tech. arrived the next day & would not give up looking & testing. He found the small leak in the hot water tank. The very next day my new tank arrived and a technician took out old one & put new one in. This was the beginning of a long lasting friendship. Any problem, electrical, plumbing, energy saving, BGE is my first & only call. Excellent, timely service by all.

Originally I was upset because I was scheduled for an appointment and no one came. I took off work and waited all day. They told me one date and scheduled me for another. The manager Dave contacted me the next day and rescheduled me for a day that worked with my schedule. They came out and fixed my tub. It ended up being no cost to me. I am extremely happy. They made a mistake but definitely made the effort to make it right. I will continue to use BGE Home.

It took them awhile to figure out what was needed to fix the hot water heater but once that was done, it was all down hill. The thermostat and the whole burner unit was replaced and now we have plenty of hot water. So thankful for the wonderful job they did. And we’re thankful that BGE Home has such great people working for them.

Editing my review after resolution:I had a very bad experience initially as I was left without heat for 10 days. Failed correspondence from the company despite my several efforts to speak with someone for updates. This experience prompted my negative Google review. Although I wish it could have been handled by the several people I spoke with without leaving a review, things have now been made right.The Director of Procurement ended up reaching out to me, and for the first time in almost 2 weeks I felt as if someone was finally interested in assisting me. I do not want to name drop him for privacy but he worked very diligently to investigate where things went wrong to not only just apologize for my experience, but to explain to me exactly what happened. He did not make excuses, but accepted accountability on behalf of the company. For such a big company to take accountability definitely adds back some points for me. Still taking away a star for my initial experience but the mitigation process was outstanding.

Thank you for a job well done.On the morning of 11/17/2020, The BGE Technician called ten minutes prior to arrival to completed a yearly check on my natural gas furnace. The technician completed a checklist of items, completed a component electrical measurements check plus a few other HVAC related checks. The furnace was checked and tested, the condensation line and drain were cleaned. After the work was complete a customer checklist was emailed for my records. All work was covered under my Smart Service Plan. I am very pleased and impressed with the high level of expertise displayed by the technician to prepare my furnace for the upcoming Winter season.

We have a service plan for appliances and was originally told that my wall oven was not included. Later the same day, my husband called and spoke to a different person and we told IT was covered. How happy was I to hear that news. We made an appointment for them to come out and a few weeks later (only took them lest than 5 min) we were back in action. Very pleased with service rendered.

Overall, I am satisfied with this company. I will say some technicians are better than others, and some are just excellent. BGE Home has been really good about working to get things right and billing us fairly. Also, have to say that Jason D in plumbing is one of the most excellent plumbers out there. He just knows his stuff and is so nice on top of it!

Guys are always good. But not sure they actually do all they are supposed to do -- such as draining the water off any heating pipes. Also I asked for a certain technician and made an appointment with him. My time was changed and he wasn't assigned. Fulfilling contract and request would be a good thing.

The problem was fixed after more than a week. Wouldn't have been too much of a problem if it weren't winter with freezing temps. Techs are good at their jobs. It's the customer service that needs improvement. Tech requested for me to receive 2 loaner heaters that day. They didn't arrive and I had to purchase one. The next morning I get a call with apologies that they would be delivered in a "couple of hours". That evening, the two heaters are delivered. Less than 30 minutes later, I get a voicemail from a different person that my heaters were on the way. I'm so glad I called him back. If not, I'd have had 4 heaters. Communication doesn't work if isn't EFFECTIVE! I'm warm now. I suppose all's well that ends well.

The customer care rep did what she promised; she connected me to service. The next one corrected the notes and re-connected me to Service. The problem is that unless they were trying to sell me something, no one called as promised to address my service request.I called to have someone come out to see why my cool air is not reaching the upstairs. An HVAC person came out and referred me to Indoor Air Quality. Someone from Service called to sell me a air duct cleaning service. I restated my problem and he promised to call me back on Friday (26Aug2022) (no one called me back). So, I am back to calling for Service. I have called at least four times (one initial and three follow-ups) and still no resolution. I already have 75% of the plans they offer; I have been a full home customer since 2003.

The technicians who come do a good job. But scheduling is a major challenge. We pay for a home service contract and with an oven not functioning the earliest date they would schedule is more than 11 days out, and that is only after we suggested that a month was unacceptable.UPDATE: I was able to chat with customer service online and we're now looking at five days out. A significant improvement. As always, the people are extremely nice as are the technicians who come. They just really need to do something about shortening the time for service contract holders. It's a recurring problem, even pre-pandemic.

The pizza tasted ok but man the size of my personal pan has gotten smaller. They use to be bigger. The place feels and smells sorry. Don't think I'll be going back to this location but then again that's a pizza hut problem. They are not the cleanest
