Contractor named Allen was very helpful and went out of his way to help me to fix an underground water pipe leak. He even talked to the water leak detection company on my behalf to further accelerate a solution. I have been a loyal customer with their whole house service plan with well repairs included. I would highly recommend this company and their service plans.

My A/C went out 😫😫 in the middle of a heat wave. I was able to schedule an appointment on- line and a tech was available the following day. They resolved my issue fast at no additional cost!!!

I made a complaint earlier about no one showing up for my appointment this morning, but BGE made up for it in a big way. A BGE manager by the name of Jeff had called me to tell me they would send someone out after my work today. Jeff was very polite and helpful. The technician he sent out to my home, Vince, was super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Vince knew what he was doing and explained how he made my HVAC system run more efficiently. He definitely represents BGE well and wish him all the success.

We had BGE out twice in two months to fix the same issue on our dishwasher (the second visit was our fault 100%, not the company's). Both times they quickly and effectively fixed the issue. The technicians were kind and on-time and a real pleasure to work with. We are really glad to have found an appliance repair company we can trust; I spent a lot of time trying to find someone in the area.

I’ve been a happy BGE Home service contract customer for 20+ years for two homes. Sorry to hear about the problems from other customers as this has not been our experience. Matt, Carolyn, Nancy and Heather in dispatch and customer service are always courteous, professional and do their best to accommodate requests for urgent service. The BGE repairmen are equally terrific: on time, courteous, professional, and skilled at their craft. Had a new heat pump system installed last summer. Other than the long wait for the system to arrive due to the pandemic, installation day was a breeze as promised and the system cools/heats well. This week our 13-year old klunky on-again/off-again refrigerator is working like new again thanks to Marvin and Sam. As usual, I called BGE Home and Marvin came out the very next day. The new part arrived earlier than expected and Carolyn squeezed us in a week plus earlier than scheduled for a 4 to 5 hour major overhaul. All L&M included in our service contract. Thank you to the BGE Home team!

BG&E Installed a new HVAC system in March. So far it’s failed 3 times, my old system Never failed once in 18 years. Have told BG&E that if they can’t get it fixed this time I expect them to pull it out and reinstall with all New equipment. Let’s see if they stand behind their “Total Satisfaction” GuaranteeI’m updating the review as after pursuing the issue I was able to speak with senior management who resolved the problems. I’m keeping it at 3 stars for now as I had to make repeated calls to get to a manager who could help me but once I spoke to the right person BGE home acted quickly and responsibly.It's been a year since the last review and I'm updating to 5 stars as BG&E has been doing a great job in providing their semi annual maintenance and the system is working perfectly,

We have called BGE home twice now in the last 3 months. Once for a defective gas valve during an ice storm. We were expecting them within 24 hours, and they exceeded expectations by arriving by 7am the next day and finishing everything within a 30 minute time window. The second time we called our AC went out and they arrived again the same morning we called in service. I called at 8am and they arrived at 10:30; Travis our technician is a fantastic guy and very skilled and knowledgeable. On top of this, during the COVID crisis, they have already put into place screening measures and prepared their team to take safety precautions, gloves, mask, and shoe protectors and stayed 6 feet away from us the whole time. Just to be clear we are all healthy but, they went over and beyond to keep us and themselves safe. Excellent company and service.

I'm amending my review after a prior negative review prompted BGE/Constellation Home customer service to engage management regarding our issue. Once that happened, the communication/scheduling gears started turning and a field technician was dispatched within a couple of hours. Truly appreciated!I will say this - the field technicians are wonderful, polite, and highly skilled. Both of our field techs knew exactly what the problem with this water heater was. They diagnosed the issue properly as a failed valve. John Lai, a Principal Service Technician, came out and repaired things in about an hour. He was awesome!The back of the house customer service side needs some help. I'm not sure if it's empowering agents to take ownership of customer service/scheduling issues to see them through to the end or what the answer is. Hopefully management can use this issue as a lessons learned training session to hash out why one side of the house (Customer Service) is having difficulty syncing up with the other side of the house (Scheduling/Warehouse).It's not entirely clear that the part was ever actually required to be ordered. It appears that the part was already in the warehouse since a courier brought a valve to the house and then the field tech also showed up with a valve as well.Anyway, the issue was resolved to our satisfaction, but I feel like it shouldn't take the president of the company contacting me to smooth over scheduling of a routine water heater valve replacement.
