For almost a century, our family’s number one concern has been for the comfort and care of our community. When J.B. Redding, Senior and Joseph J. Redding his son founded J.B. Redding & Son in 1920 and devoted themselves to serving Princeton University’s heating needs, they knew that he wanted to build a legacy – a lasting tradition of quality and service upheld by his family for generations to come.
Today, fourth and fifth generations of the Redding family do just that. Over the years we’ve changed a bit. Our customers call our residential division Redding’s Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning and our commercial area Redding’s Mechanical now – we’ve earned their trust and feel like family. And while we got our start in a modest barn on Linden Lane in Princeton, in 1945 we moved to a central location in the heart of Mercer County. Since then, we’ve watched our community grow around us. And we’ve grown with it. We’re continually upgrading our knowledge and expertise to expand our services and remain at the leading edge of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industries, as well as environmental stewardship. Plus, our central location and supply house for parts helps us provide fast, reliable service to our customers. What has not changed through the years – and never will – is our commitment to quality.
