Chris is always a pleasure. He is professional, knowledgeable and skilled. Sobieski as a company is also easy to communicate with, whether it is for a repair, regular maintenance or to discuss options for service. And their prices are inline with or better than other HVAC and plumbing companies.

Deejay Daniel Joseph from Sobieski came by yesterday for a routine inspection and immediately caught a small damper issue right off the bat. He resolved it quickly and left my home warm and toasty—exactly how it should be during this arctic winter.Over the years, DJ. E and the Sobieski team have consistently handled our HVAC maintenance—AC in the summer, furnace in the winter—and they always come through. Professional, sharp-eyed, and dependable. Since I was already on a great Sobieski annual plan, no charges were associated with the visit. In fact, I'm upgrading our system due to DJs over 20 yrs experience in the field!Keep up the excellent work. I highly recommend Deejay Daniel Joseph anytime.

Shane came to fix issue with low water pressure and lack of hot water to the showers. He found the problem (debris in the line) and was able to flush the system to get everything working correctly. He was very pleasant and courteous, extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I would recommend him if you need a plumber.

We had two projects done this week with Sobieski. I would recommend them to anyone and we would higher them again. The work that was done included: replacing our heat/AC unit. The plumber did a fabulous job. Neat, organized, knowledgeable, professional, and he takes pride in his work. He wants the customer to be happy. The second project was replacing the hot water heater because it was leaking. Everything looks great in the basement.

Repairman was wonderful. Only issue is not being told until after 830 am what time my repairman would arrive. Called and told between 9-12. Why couldn’t a window be given in advance? I work so it is hard to schedule the needed time off. Received text at 856 am he was on way.

Hector was super warm and friendly! I felt comfortable having him in my home to assist with the issue i was having. Hector was very attentive, allowed me to voice my concerns without interruption and immediately knew what the issue was and corrected it. He even went on to address a separate issue in the home upon noticing while i was washing dishes. Something i probably wouldn’t have identified myself. Hector understands the true meaning of customer service and id be happy to have him back if any additional issues should arise. (Fingers crossed that they don’t though!)

Our service through Sobieski was for yearly maintenance on our Instant Hot Water Heater. Our technician was Jake and he called ahead and provided us with a time he would arrive. He was on time, respected our home with the use of protective shoe coverings, was knowledgeable on how to properly service the unit. He cleaned the area afterwards. Would highly recommended.

In the end, the capacitor on the unit had failed, and he explained it's kind of like needing new brakes every so often. The part wears out over time. Ryan was the second technician sent to repair my plumbing problem. The first tech, Adam, said my issue was not his problem and I should contact the builder. So I did and they referred me back to Sobieski.When Ryan arrived, I was concerned that I might receive the same offensive treatment as before. I was, however, delighted that Ryan really wanted to resolve my plumbing matter. He asked questions, I gave him the background and he started tracing the problem. Initially, the water in the sink in the master bath had the hot water connected to the cold faucet. Along with that, in order to get hot water, the water had to run several minutes just to get hot then it would turn cold almost immediately. He checked the shower, which had the same problem. He ended up cutting into the wall to find that the plumbing had not been installed properly. He left to purchase parts for the repair and to notify the project manager of his suspected theory and returned promptly. It took Ryan hours to reinstall the needed plumbing and connections. In the end, all of his efforts seem to have fixed my lack of hot water in both the sinks and the shower.Ryan was professional, courteous and efficient. He had a genuine desire to help me and I felt confident that he would do the best job possible.

Chris and Shane were very efficient, thorough, knowledgeable and courteous. We had our on demand hot water heater and air conditioner serviced.The only complaint I have is the automated system they use for scheduling is out of sync with the appointment. It repeatedly continues to call to schedule an appointment even though I’ve had an appointment for months. I called the office and was told it was a quirk in the system. I even received a call to schedule an appointment for servicing the day the AC was serviced.

I called Sobieski for the first time to get their $79 tuneup, as our unit is relatively new and I just wanted to see how they would do before signing up for a more costly maintenance plan.Originally they put my preferred time down as 8-12 PM, but when I called to pin down a time the morning of the appointment, they told me it would be in the 12-4 PM range.Shortly after I spoke with their office, I received a call from their technician, William G., who advised me that he would see me around 9:15 AM. He arrived on time, was very courteous and professional, and gave me several tips on what I may want to do to keep my furnace running properly, as well as giving me suggestions on certain services that I may want to consider in the future.I could not be happier with his services. I certainly hope that he is the technician that comes the next time. He is certainly an asset to your company.

DJ provided us with a through review of the estimate to upgrade our HVAC system with a whole house humidifier and air quality improvement. He scheduled us for the installation. He provided us with specifics of what the installation entailed prior to starting the installation, and also provided a thorough review once the installation was completed including what I needed to do to use the humidifier feature during the winter. I want to start out by saying the HVAC technician, William was absolutely fantastic. He came on time, was wonderful, explained everything and got the work done in a timely fashion. A true asset to Sobieski. However, when I booked the appointment for the service contract, I was told both technicians would arrive in the same time frame for my convenience. (8am-12pm). At 12pm when I had not heard from the plumber, I called, only to be told they moved him to 12-4pm without notifying me. So now I'm stuck sitting and waiting another 4 hours. The answer was that I should have received a call the day before notifying me of this change and how the appointment is merely a suggestion and subject to change. A poor first experience. Edit: The plumber Shane arrived at 3pm amd was very pleasant and efficient. I hope this communication issue is not going to be a problem going forward.

I noticed my water heater mid evening last night that is was starting to leak, which was expected bc I’ve gotten almost 13yrs of life out of it surprised it’s lasted this long. But my neighbor recommended me to Sobieskli as I’m not from the area I have needed a reliable, honest, non price gauging plumbing services and well I think I’ve found them. Ryan and his partner came out today and did a fabulous job replacing my bad 40 gallon water heater to a 50 gallon and cleaned up/fixed the hodge podge of a piping job whom I purchase the home from. They were polite, respectful, and trustworthy as I had to leave for about an hr for an appt. They were clean, neat, and very proficient. Shane & Jake worked together on repairing my water heater. I appreciated them both taking the time to explain to me what was wrong with it. On 17 Dec 2025 DJ E from Sobieski Services came to my new home to set up service and to answer questions I had, help me to get my new house's heating system functioning efficiently and check over my entire system to make sure it was functioning well. DJ answered my questions, gave incredible advice, and immediately found probably the biggest problem I had and fixed it! My house is already much more comfortable. Great customer service from Sidney who took my original call, to dispatcher [Dan?], to DJ E, technician. DJ showed me melted wire which caused heat to go out. Quoted prices & received Repaired indoor & outdoor [shorted wire] units. I told DJ my husband had a double lung transplant in March; therefore we take extra precautions, & he honored & respected my request to use hand sanitizer. We had the tech Mike come out for the noise that was coming from the system. I cannot say how satisfied I am with his professionalism and his knowledge base. He walked me through the system. Our Nest thermostat gave an error code and heater was not working. Of course happened when temps were in the 30’s. James K. was excellent. He explained an issue I was having with my thermostat, and then serviced my furnace. He was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. I think the scheduling folks need a little training. I had a morning appointment scheduled that I needed to change to a different date in the afternoon. The person I spoke to on the phone, confirmed the date and time of the new appointment. But the day before the appointment, I received a text message telling me that the technician would be there in the morning. I had to call and get them to change it to the afternoon. This is not the first time that this has happened.

This was HVAC replacement via Costco and Sobieski made it pretty easy and smooth without pressure. Listing all the items with pictures clearly and price. Though price is higher than other contractors quoted ... after discounts and with clear descriptions of what included really help me to make my decision rather easily and willing to pay a little bit more.Zach Bailey is always there answering a lot of my questions without frustration :). DJ is a highly-trained professional that came out to do a routine maintenance on my 6 year old townhome that had never been serviced before. The A/C Unit had a caked on appearance overtop of the cooling coils.We had a coolant cleanse and compressor saver added to the unit in addition to checking the Freon and efficiency check. DJ not only is skilled, but took the time to explain/give suggestions from manufacturers like Goodman as to what services should be done and in what timeframes to do it. Shane is the saving grace for Sobieski. He knows the plumbing job with an A+ and his work is proof. Not all plumbers are equal (even within Sobieski) but because Shane works there, they’ll receive my 10/10. Request this man for honest and skillful work.The finish/fix is the first picture (all white PVC pipe on the left). The problem was the other two pictures. When the ejector pump worked, it shook the plastic strap that was supposed to hold the pipe in place = fail. The pipe where the black part was shook free and water-waste started flooding my basement :( Don’t ask me who designed this house trap.

The Sobieski team did a great job at our house. They arrived on time and took steps to cleanup before, during, and after the job was done. Kevin answered all the questions we had and even was very understanding of modifications we needed done due to special circumstances of our setup. The same applies to his team members. They even took steps to clear debris and foliage around our condenser unit to make for a solid install. Update: The company contacted me yesterday (12/27/23) by text with a reminder. The tech called this AM with time of arrival. He was prompt, courteous and answered all my questions. Overall, great service from Sobieski. Prices are a little high, but the service technicians are willing to work with you. Thomas the Sobieski service tech was excellent in getting our Lennox oil furnace up and running again. Thomas explained everything in detail as far as what was wrong with our heating system and gave several solutions to solve our home heating issue. Thomas was very professional and wasn't trying to sell anything we didn't need. I definitely recommend Sobieski for your home heating needs.

I would rate your technician, Chris with 5 stars. He explains everything so it is easy to comprehend. Whenever he has worked on or serviced our equipment, we have never had a complaint. Plus, he is always pleasant.I would not rate your dispatchers very highly as I waited4 days before having heat restored, even though I have been a loyal customer for 11 years and always renewed our service contract. I have never had this problem before even during a snow storm, and it was disappointing and cold to say the least.

The furnace in my new home would not turn on. Sobieski sent a technician, William, out within 2 hours. Wlliam quickly diagnosed a venting issue that would not allow water to drain properly from the furnace. He installed additional straps to hold the vent at the proper level and cleaned out accumulated water from the vent. This immediately resolved the problem. The technician was extremely competent, prompt and friendly!!!! As a result. I will be entering a service agreement with Sobieski.

I experienced a sewer plumbing issue where the builder dropped and left a part of the sewer pipe inside the outdoor sewer system which was stuck vertically inside the main pipe. After about a month, this caused accumulation and a buildup of waste inside the pipe causing the sewer system to overflow inside the house from the sewer drain system behind the water heater. This caused a mess as that the bathroom was flooded, the floors were damaged, and the walls were damaged as well. At this time the emergency was real and I have contacted Sobieski Inc services for an emergent assistant. Jamille and Jarrith both arrived and came for the rescue. They were both very professional and extremely knowledgeable in their expertise. They explained everything that could have happened and then identified the issue.They pin pointed the root cause to the outdoor sewer drain which they popped the cap open and removed this broken and vertically stuck piece. This former stuck piece was from the former and original piping left by the builder. They ran the water system (toilet, sink etc.) a few times to ensure a smooth flow of water was present. They showed me the water flow in the outdoor sewer pipe and everything was working fine after their services. Jamille and Jarrith explained that for the long-term health of the sewer piping system, they recommend snaking it and performing a flush procedure which, due to their extensive expertise I agreed upon this service as a follow-up visit. Before leaving the premises, they vacuumed and cleaned up the sitting water on the floor including the drip tray of the water heater.Overall, I was highly satisfied with Sobieski Inc and the high level of professionalism, utter most respect and extensive knowledge of both Jamille and Jarrith. I would definitely work with them again in the future for any plumbing issues to occur. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to recommend Sobieski Inc and specifically Jamille and Jarrith to my friends and family for any and all plumbing related maintenance. Thank you for making this very easy during stressful times.

The product's value to me was explained in detail and given the option to install the product that day or wait. I consider that a quality of a mature company that is not constant pressuring product. In need of replacing a 20 yr. old HVAC system we requested bids from several companies and were introduced to the Sobieski team through Costco's services offering. From start to finish they were professional and responsive- and combined with Costco's incentives with their membership and proprietary credit card rebates, along with a 15% of total purchase price Costco shop card- we realized a solid value. Sylinea at the office was informative and response through the scheduling and bid detail communications. The installers Kevin and Angel did an excellent job providing a clean installation which was minimally intrusive. We've done some significant remodel and repair work with multiple properties and have seen many shortcuts and careless installs done when we were not staying on top of every step. Not the case here. This job involved a relocation of the exterior condenser and the team completed the removal of the old and placement of the new very cleanly.

DJ was extremely professional and polite. He repaired my furnace and installed a new thermostat while explaining what was wrong along the way - Very knowledgeable individual. If I could buy him a beer, I would have. Sobieski was also very fast; sending DJ out the same day as my initial call. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a Lennox Heating and AC optimum system installed by Sobieski. I was sent an email with the monthly specials and contacted Sobieski. Devin D. the sale person who showed up not only gave me the deal I seen but also included other specials that I did not know about which saved me around $4,000 dollars. The crew that installed the system was very professional, and customer service ordinated. We built a brand new house with Ryan Homes, and we could not feel any heat coming into our third floor. Ryan Homes set up an appointment with Sobieski, and DJ from Sobieski was the tech assigned to the issue. He was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the entire HVAC system. He resolved the issue within 30 minutes and once again walked me through the system to help ensure I wouldn't have the same problem in the future. I cannot say enough kind words about DJ and Lauren. Lauren was our scheduling liaison and she was responsive and helpful. Our heat went off suddenly and Sobieski was very responsive. We booked a repairman to come the next day. The office was great and keeping us up to date on when he would arrive. Don came and immediately assessed that our pressure switch was faulty. He didn’t have one on his truck so he drove into West Chester and got one, came back and installed it. A great experience and kudos to Sobieski. We are now nice and warm with temps heading into a low of 32 degree and we’re thankful for the heat!

My heating system was almost 20 years old and needed to be replaced. I got two quotes from local HVAC companies and was not impressed with their proposals. I decided to get a third & I'm glad I did. The other companies did not come close in comparison to Sobieski. They were very professional throughout the entire process and provided a higher efficiency system at a lower price. And the installation process was especially impressive. They arrived on time and the entire team functioned like clock work, staying long enough to complete the install of two new complete HVAC systems in one day. I got a heat pump with a gas furnace back up. I contacted them through Costco. I had gotten 4 bids. Their bid was best overall.I needed a liner put in the chimney for the water heater. My oil tank will be removed 11/23.I was happy to have one company handle everything. The technicians were very nice and seemed extremely competent. They arrived about 9:00 and didn't get done until about 8:00. They cleaned up when they were done. I would recommend them.

I'm a long term customer for heating/AC . I have always received good quality service.This time was no acception.Josh ,assisted by a young man (who is strong as an Ox and very personable) were a real manifestation of teamwork. I have been the other half of two man teams in many jobs in my life . It is so important that they respect each other and communicate...even anticipate what the other needs to get the job done. This is very evident in these Men. It is clear that Josh is the lead. He is very knowledgeable and personable. Communicated with me at every step and had a clear plan to deal with my complicated situation , which had several layers of challenges. Josh and his partner, inspired confidence in me. They are capable and delivered quick resolution.I might add, that as a long term customer I did receive a discount on the services I required. Customer retention is important to Sobieski as a company. That seems rare these days. I would also like to compliment the contractor that Sobieski partners with to replace the water line from the street. They had to dig up my front yard, 45' from the house to the street to replace a leaking water line.The crew chief and Excavator operator was top notch. Josh oversaw the entire operation, and explained each phase of the operation. The excavation team left the site restored as much as possible, cleaned the dirt off the driveway and placed straw over the bare dirt to mitigate erosion.Very professional job.I highly Recommend Sobieski services for plumbing ,heating and A/C services.

The company has great technicians but the admin part is a pain in the a$$. When you call in you are ALWAYS put into a call-waiting queue where you get to spend several minutes listening to ads telling you how great Sobieski is. This is VERY irritating. Then the answering service picks up and promises a call back soon. Which doesn't happen. And they are expensive.Now here's the good news:Leon just installed a replacement oil pump and motor for my oil furnace. He's the best! Very knowledgeable with many years of experience.Cyrus installed a new garbage disposal unit. He was very friendly and professional and got the job done in no time. I've been with this company for years and have always been satisfied with the quality of their products and their service.

I called the customer service at Sobieski when the service men arrived to do the HVAC maintenance only and we’re on aware of the request for maintenance around the condenser in my front yard. We needed to replace our 11 year old Lennox HVAC systems that were installed with our home when it was built. Those systems needed ~$2000 of repairs and recharge of the old R22 (?) refrigerant, so we decided to replace them now.We came to Sobieski Services through Costco. Sobieski made appropriate recommendations, placed our order, installed the new systems, and helped us submit for the Costco and PECO rebates all within a week of our first call. The crew that came out worked from 8:30am until almost 9pm to de-install the old systems and install the new outdoor Lennox AC system and the indoor heater, coil, air cleaner, humidifier, and programmable thermostats. They were missing 2 small parts to fully complete the job, but came back another evening and worked until 9pm to finish.Good job, reasonable price. We recommend them.

I would give 5 stars if the customer service reps had been more diligent about informing the technician that the necessary part should be picked up before coming to the site to fix the problem. Instead, the repair took an extra 3 days, which was a little frustrating. But the technician was super professional and explained everything that needed to be done as well as timing and costs. Interestingly, the company called me that afternoon to collect payment, which I explained I had already sent payment in response to their emailed invoice. The guy on the phone starts pressuring me to pay by credit card so I said, "I sent a check through the mail, it will arrive in 3-5 business days. I waited over a week to get my air conditioner fixed, so I think you should be able to wait 3-5 days to get paid for it." And I hung up.

We Love having Sobieski Services keep our home comfortable no matter the weather. Steve E was the most recent Service Pro. It was the first time he had been to our home. He was very prompt (called ahead of time telling me he would be arriving on time.) He always put on his booties to protect our home - even though I said not necessary since I have a dog. Steve was keeping me posted as to what he was doing and went above & beyond when I needed 2 new filters . He had 1 left on his truck & went to go get me another one since he was out. Two years ago our install was excellent. Sobieski answers their phone, "How can I make you smile?" So tacky. Is that the worse thing about the company? Maybe. 5 stars if all employees were as great as the installers. I like the Lenox system we chose, but it's missing the air purification system I had on the old furnace. Now I have to pay for additional install. Should have all been done at once. In all honesty, I can't remember if it was offered. Waited 4 months for routine service appointment because I requested "morning". Tech arrived in afternoon, anyway.

The actual service was fine but not actually getting a time. The window of time I was given 7 AM to 7 PM is not a window I like. When I received a reminder call they said they would keep me posted on the progress of the service agent I never heard anything, at 2:30 I had to call to see if I was still scheduled. I told them I preferred a morning appointment. I was told they would call me a half an hour before they got here , I did get a call at 4:10 the agent told me he would be there in five minutes. I wasted a whole day waiting for them if I had gone to work I would’ve missed them because it takes 45 minutes for me to get home . I don’t understand why they cannot give you at least a 2 to 4 hour window when you make your appointment. I wonder what people do who cannot leave your work and make it home in 30 minutes or 5 minutes.

We also appreciated his advice on how to nurse the unit along temporarily until we made a decision on whether to replace the defective part or the entire unit. I want to be fair about my review on this so I will give the pros and cons as I experienced them.Pros:1. They installed many of the fixtures and plumbing in my new construction home and only one of them had an issue.2. They are responsive as it relates to their Google reviews customer service. Cons:1. They are not 24 hours. They have a messaging service that takes message during off hours.2. Their warranty service time window was pretty bad for me. It was upwards of seven days for a sewer smell in the bathroom. (Ended up being a bad wax seal.)I can safely give it three stars for average service. It wasn't bad or good but rather just 'meh' overall and I wouldn't likely choose them personally in the future. However, others have had great experiences with them. I'm simply giving you my view of them from my experience.
