Comfortable, Electric Hydronic Heat is Here

Help us show the world what’s possible

Enroll Now

U.S. Boiler Electrification Program

It isn’t hard to find information on heat pumps, but every customer we speak with still asks the same question: “Will a heat pump work in my home?” Whether or not a hydronic heat pump will work well depends on a number of factors, including outdoor temperature profile, the home’s heat loss, and the design temperature of the heating system to name a few. Our program is designed to partner with select contractors and homeowners to show how home heating systems can be successfully converted to electric power. Enroll today to see if you qualify!

Our Goal

Our goal is to partner with you to install our equipment in a wide variety of applications: big and small homes, cold and moderate climates, heat pump only and dual fuel, radiant surfaces and radiators, old homes and new homes. Contractors can expect one-on-one training and field support from our team so that they can deliver the best solution for the application and a quality installation for our homeowners. We want to partner with homeowners or contractors interested in electric hydronic heat.

Who We Are

With production and engineering facilities in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, U.S. Boiler Company is a leading manufacturer of hydronic heating equipment in the North American Market. We manufacture brands that have been trusted by installers and homeowners alike for over 150 years. From electric to fossil fuel, residential to commercial, standard to high efficiency, and water to steam, U.S. Boiler Company is your trusted partner for hydronic heating solutions.

U.S. Boiler Electrification Program Frequently Asked Questions

Contractors that currently install and service hydronic heating equipment are good candidates, while those that also have heat pump experience are considered ideal.  We will prioritize contractors that are open to collaborating with us to ensure a superior experience for our homeowner clients.

Homeowners who are building or have a home with hydronic heat that they would like to partially or fully convert to electric are great candidates.  We are looking for a variety of homes to convert, both the ordinary and the extraordinary.  We want to partner with homeowners that want to work with the best contractors and are willing to share the story of their electrified heating system.

This program is about ensuring quality installations, not quantity.  It starts with concentrated support for highly skilled contractors so they are able to define the best system for you and your electric hydronic home.  We will connect you with one of these contractors that will assess your home, walk you through your options and install a system that meets your needs.  Additionally, particularly attractive sites may be eligible for discounted products.

We understand what is required to be successful as a hydronics manufacturer: outstanding contractor support.  Contractors will receive the highest level of support through education and technical support.  Additionally, particularly attractive sites may be eligible for discounted products.  Lastly, our partner contractors will be mentioned in various media outlets within our shared success stories if they so choose.

In order to participate in the program you will need to agree to share information that will help us show the impact of the system on your home.  This information may include photos of your home and installation, electricity usage, thermostat settings, or heat pump performance data gathered by our data acquisition systems.

Our team will select sites with two goals in mind.  First, we designed the program to ensure a positive experience for the contractor and homeowner.  This means that we will be selective in who we partner with and which applications we choose.  Second, we are looking for variety in our installations.  From the small and simple to the large and unusual, we want to partner with you!

To ensure that we fully support our electrification sites we will only be supporting a limited number of sites at time.  But as soon as projects are completed we will be looking for others.  You may be selected for immediate installation or installation throughout 2024.

Our team will regularly evaluate the registrations to plan for future contractors and homes.  When you are selected we will likely ask for more detailed information, but until then you can count on semi-regular emails (not too often!) from us on the program.

No.  If you’ve read this far, why not enroll?  We will both have the chance to understand how the program will work for you before any commitments are made.
