Leader in Energy Savings Controls
- State-of-the-art IQ and Sage2.1 Boiler Control Systems maximize your new boiler's fuel saving capabilities
- LCD touch screen provides simple and easy interface
- Advanced diagnostic capabilities monitor multiple system operational parameters including firing rate, run time and system water temperatures
U.S. Boiler Company has developed and introduced the exclusive IQ Boiler Control System for cast iron boilers and the Sage2.1 Control System for condensing boilers giving contractors and homeowners better information about the operation of their heating system. These controls rely on monitoring multiple system parameters and are constantly tuning both combustion operations and water temperatures to maximize system efficiency, saving energy and money in the process.
Both systems offer an LCD touch screen display that features easy-to-follow full text explanations detailing all control settings, as well as help screens with comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting information.
Both control systems are specifically designed to accommodate "Outdoor Reset" technologies. Essentially, this control technology adjusts the boiler temperature up or down based on the temperature outside of the home. It's a simple concept; on cooler days, a home requires more heat to maintain a comfortable temperature but on warmer days it takes less heat for the same comfort. By using this feature to adjust boiler temperatures, system efficiencies can be enhanced and deliver energy savings of 15-20%. This functionality is standard in the Sage2.1 Control System and is available as an enhancement to the IQ Control System platform.
IQ Boiler Control Systems are available on the ES2, Series 3, and ESC gas boilers and on the MPO-IQ oil boiler. The Alpine condensing gas boiler comes as standard with the Sage2.1 Control System and includes a wide variety of options built right into the controls.
