During a family emergency, and two weeks after buying the new house, our plumbing decided it was time to back up. After another plumber “did their best” to open my drain line, and tried upselling me to replace the world. I decided to go local.I called and left a message for Joe. He was so calm about the situation, I instantly felt comfortable with his plan. Get one of his team out to inspect the line. They found that there is a 4 inch root blocking a 6 inch 65-year old terracotta pipe. They opened up the line and assured me things would be fine until the replacement.We scheduled a day. Unfortunately, rain was predicted and we rescheduled at Joe’s best advice (he truly did not want to trash our lawn).Today was the day…what an effort! Joe and his team replaced the main drain line, and at his suggestion, the water line. The team was meticulous in their work. Everything was accomplished in a day. Completed way above and beyond my expectations, including putting the lawn back together and reseeding it. The work was done on the exact quoted amount, which I feel was priced accordingly to the professional expert level skills of the team. Had a back up issue flow back into my basement and rented a snake from home depo, backed up again so called them. Must have knocked something loose because when tech Robert came, nothing backed up. (Of course) he looked down the pipes looked in the septic and clean out, evaluated every angle. Thinks we must have done something with the snake. But was very honest and discounted the come out fee. Was honest about the whole situation and didn’t try to sell a job. Would use 10000% in the future. Pricing is very fair for the plumbing business.

I had a terrible experience with my previous oil and service company—they caused multiple failures that left me without fuel, no heat, and pipes on the verge of freezing. In desperation, I reached out to Joe at Straight Plumbing in the evening and I’m so glad I did.Joe arrived at my house at 8:30 PM with fuel and immediately got the boiler running. Half of my house had pipes that were freezing, so he quickly isolated that section to minimize potential damage. Thanks to his skills, we still had heat in the other half of the house.The next morning, Joe returned with more fuel and a space heater to thaw the frozen pipes, set up his heater, and gave me clear instructions on what to do moving forward. Not only that, but he left me his gas can so I could get additional fuel.Throughout the day, Joe checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. One company claimed that a "different path" was necessary for the replacement, leading to more work and higher costs.I reached out to Joe, recommended by several colleagues, and he promptly assessed the situation. He explained his method for replacing the line and provided a quote that included necessary upgrades at a much lower cost. My LP Boiler stopped working. Joe started working the problem over the phone with me immediately, and reached out the boiler manufacturer for the best assessment of repair versus replace for the boiler. Clearly evident Joe is a highly skilled technician with the experience and expertise to handle all boiler challenges. Ultimately Joe installed a new top of the line boiler for me properly per the manufacturer instructions, and even corrected plumbing issues that were not correct from the original existing boiler. I contacted Joe at Straight Plumbing LLC for a tankless hot water heater repair at our rental property. Ironically, he was recommended by another plumbing company I contacted first that didn't work on tankless heaters. Our property management company had sent two other vendors to the property that were unable to complete the repair over the course of a week frustrating my wife, me and our tenant. His team responded within 24 hours, completed the necessary repairs, and charged us fair prices in comparison to other vendors contacted. I would recommend and use this company again in the future. Unfortunately, I've had the main water line break 4 times in less than 5 years. Also, unfortunately, I used the same plumber the first three times. The work the other plumber did (or did not do) is another story.Luckily, I got in touch with Joe. He knew what material had been used before I told him. He educated me on why copper should not be used. Joe was great. He was responsive. He came out to take a look. He was thorough and explained things clearly. He gave me confidence that he would be able to, finally, resolve my problem. So I decided to no longer use my old plumber and to use Straight Plumbing. The work was completed today. Joe arrived early and was ready to go. The work was completed as promised. His crew cleaned up after themselves inside and outside. He ended up having to replace a couple of parts, the previous plumber either broke or neglected to fix. He took it in stride and simply got the work done. He even put down grass seed. I only mention that cause my previous plumber didn't seem to care about my yard.This situation has sucked and has cost my several thousand dollars over the past 5 years. Joe is a breath of fresh air. He guarantees his work. He takes pride in what he's doing. He's thorough. And he cares. I hope to God I won't need him anytime soon but if I do, I'll call him.

We have (un?)fortunately used these guys multiple times. They have come out on a moments noticed, replaced well pumps at 2 houses, fixed a multiple rotten pipes, and entertain my son as well! They’re super efficient, reliable, personable, give great feed back on what you NEED to do vs some X factors on what might be good for the long run (our new house has had both acute and chronic issues). The prices are more than fair for the work they do. Even if I have had to have these guys on speed dial, I’m happy to work with them and they have been worth their weight in gold. Absolutely cannot recommend them enough. I would add pictures but they are pretty gross (including pee leaking from the ceiling).

Joe was the first of all the contractors I contacted to respond regarding my hot water heater issue. He also gave me a quote that was significantly less than the one other vendor I had contacted who provided an estimated cost. On the day of installation, Joe arrived early, was respectful of the property and our (sometimes persnickety) wishes, and got the job done as quickly as possible, and left the work site in same condition he found it in. If we need more plumbing work done, I'll *definitely* be calling Straight Plumbing again! Joe was awesome!

After another company spent the entire day trying to unclog my drain and told me it had probably collapsed and would be 2 weeks just to get a permit to dig I rented a porta potty. Just to verify this I contacted Straight Plumbing and they sent over a plumber the same day and had the drain cleared and visually inspected with a camera. There was no fault in the drain at all. He did all this in 45 minutes. They saved me $10,000. I would highly recommend this company.

Joe and his crew are awesome! After hiring him to hook up a gas range, he inspected my boiler and noticed it was on the way out. He gave us information about an ultra high efficiency natural gas boiler for our radiators. Communication with Joe is great as he explains things well and is quick to respond. Can't say enough good things about this company. Had a leaking water pipe outside that was saturating the driveway. I was able to call Joe and he was over to inspect the line within 15 minutes of the phone call and took time out of his day to stop and come out. Joe was able to tell me exactly what needed to be done and was able to get me a quote later that day.They were able to respond 2 days later to do the job. They were on time and very professional. They treated us like family and even respected the fact that we had cats and didn't want the doors left open so they couldn't get out. The work was done very well and they patched the driveway with concrete and took their time making sure it looked great. They also did a great job with site clean up. Straight Plumbing was a pleasure to work with, both professional and punctual. Our tankless water heater was not heating water. They immediately went to work troubleshooting the issue. It was found that the previous installation was not done correctly causing parts to burn out and malfunctions. They offered us a choice of trying to correct the old unit, or starting from scratch. There was no pressure to choose one way or the other, but we chose to do the full reinstall. Straight plumbing worked us in as an emergency the next morning being that we were without hot water. Unlike some contractors I have used in the past, they left the work area clean like they had never been there.

I've had a number of small jobs done by Joe and Rob since the early days of Straight Plumbing. Just recently the two of them upgraded my neutralizer and softener system in my new (to me) house. The two of them knocked out the work in quick order and the installation looks professional and I am coming away more educated about well and water treatment systems. I trust them for their selection of products and advice before during and after service. In my experience, looking for the cheapest plumber can cost you more, so if you think this team might not be the cheapest, you can bet that their pricing is fair and their service is second to none.

We have used Joe before for a small project, but we used his company again and had Robert do a pretty big project for us. We moved into a new home and needed several systems for our well water. He came out, tested the water, explained everything to me as he did it, and was actually able to do the installation SAME DAY for us! ***Water meter repair.Joe was able to get us fixed up in a timely manner. He was straightforward about the procedure, cost and time frame to get it done. To head off comments, our HOA controls the meter readings, not the county. Therefore repairs fall to the homeowner. Several plumbers looked at and could not fix the issue before we found Straight Plumbing. It was going on two months of failed attempts. We would recommend Joe and we would use Straight Plumbing again.

Joe did our well in July of 2021. Joe scheduled me in on the same day I called because my water was out. Joe did a great job and his price was fair. Joe is an energetic young guy building a business who seems to be more interested in having a good reputation than making all the profit he can. An example of that is recently when I texted him with a concern related to to my geothermal supplemental tank and my water heater. Joe said he could be out in a week (I had mostly hot water). Rather than leave it at that, Joe asked me to send him pictures of the tanks. From the pictures, Joe said he thought he'd spotted the potential problem and suggested how I could fix it. I would never have asked him to fix my problem by text but I certainly appreciated that he was willing to try--and it worked.

Joe helped me out by replacing a leaking blue poly main water line. He was extremely efficient and timely, completing the high-quality job from start to finish in less than 4 hours.He isn’t the go-to if you’re looking for the cheapest plumber in the area, but he does work at an extremely fair and reasonable rate. He isn’t going to charge you an arm and a leg by any means, but his attention to detail he shows in his work is worth the price, and he deserves to make the amount that we agreed on for the job.Joe was very knowledgeable and diligent, as a master plumber, and explained each step of the process to me as he was doing it. He was very professional and got the work done in a timely manner. For this job, he even hand-tamped, seeded, and laid straw in the front yard afterwards.All in all, Joe’s professionalism, dedication to exceptional service, and extremely fair value pricing was enough to make me write this review and I’ll be sure to call him back for any and all of my plumbing needs in the future.Update: Had a water heater installed by Joe right before Christmas 2021 and he did a great job yet again. All of the above still stands. Joe is an excellent worker and fair value for the work he did on such short notice. He even worked towards resolving the issue without going for the big replacement right away in order to save us time and money. Unfortunately we ended up needing the replacement, but it was great that he wasn’t trying to nickel and dime us to death by just suggesting the most expensive fix first.

Called and talked to Joe who was so nice and took the time to talk to me, answering all my questions (first time home buyers with no plumbing knowledge). He was quick to help me out with my complete bathroom install, great prices, and did an amazing job! 6 months out and no issues. Would not recommend anyone else! Definitely recommend! Had two indoor hose bib pipes leaking as well as the PRV on the main line into the house, they came and had it all taken care of in no time and did an excellent job! Also installed new water heater. Prices were competitive and the service and attention to detail was above and beyond. They had to deal with the county to find my outside water turn off and they handled the entire situation professionally and in a timely manner. I cannot say enough good things about the service.

We had a pipe burst under sink and had to shut off main water valve, leaving us without water. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism that we witnessed today. Robert called when he was on his way and showed up exactly when he said he would. He went to the supply house after he identified the problem. He said I will be back in half an hour and he was. He was careful to make sure that he left the counter just the way he found it and did not leave on drop of water anywhere. Robert was courteous, kind and respectful. You will not be disappointed with this company. Job well done.

Both occasions that I used this company they advised a rough time that they would available and both times were punctual and even notified me when they were on their way. When it came to their work...they explained completely what was needed and how they would complete the work.
