It’s AUGUST!! My rather dated A/C system finally pooped out…in the middle of one of the heatwaves!!! I’ve been living here since 2002…the A/C system continued to hang in there every year! Well, my number was finally up!!😳After surveying neighbors for recco’sI called Tyler Heating (etc.) and hoped for the best. Well…not only did someone answer right away but the owner showed up the next day RIGHT ON TIME! After that visit he sent me an estimate which I approved and signed on my phone!Well today (after only 3 workdays) my new system is in…it’s working perfectly…and I’m so pleased!!!The two guys (Patrick and Fred) who did the installation were superlative!!! Punctual, so personable, capable, knowledgeable, did EVERYTHING, so hardworking and pleasant!! I cannot rave enough. REALLY!!!The system is installed and working and I’m READY FOR THE NEXT HEATWAVE!!I thank my neighbors for their reccos.

My AC blower motor konked out last Friday night at 5:30pm. I called Tyler and the after hours answering service got a message quickly to Jonathan (who ALSO texted back very quickly!). He came the following day, pinpointed the problem in no time flat, and ordered the replacement parts. Cut to one week to the day--Jonathan and Fred came EARLY to my home and installed the new blower (it was still under warranty) in less than an hour. They were/are so kind, courteous, helpful, and very considerate of my home--the BEST. Thanks guys--and Tyler!! I highly recommend them!!!

Jonathon came over on time, explained the issue came back and coordinated with my electrician. Explained the problem and fixed it for a few hundred dollars. Diagnosis showed there was electrical problem and a bad transformer and thermostat, my fear was that the unit was bad, which would have cost thousands of dollars. Very friendly, honest and reliable company with talented employees. I would call them without hesitation.

Great experience. I woke up on a cold January Monday morning with the long overdue death of an ancient furnace and by that afternoon had a plan. The great team of Vince and Fred came out the next morning at 7:30 a.m. and I had my heat by the end of the day. And for a fair price. This review is long overdue. We had Tyler replaced our broken AC unit with Carrier Infinity system in the mid of March this year. They impressed us and earned our trust right from the proposal. This is a well-organized business, with a clear process, prompt communication and near perfect execution – from proposal, contract, schedule, permit, installation, registration and rebate, the team is highly professional and responsive, we really appreciate each one of them - Alexis Weidman, Cinda Mort, Vincent Limauro, there are one or two technicians who worked with Vincent, we don’t have their names on file, please pass our appreciations to them as well. We were dealing with an old and failing A/C system during a sudden heat wave, exacerbated by “unhealthy” air quality issues. In spite of busy seasonal demand, Don worked to accommodate us, scheduling the job promptly.Patrick and Chuck arrived right on time; they were pleasant and highly professional, and set about installing the new system efficiently, and in a careful and craftsmanlike way. During the job, Don came by to observe and also to answer any questions we might have. As he had originally estimated, our new A/C was up and running smoothly, the work area left neat & clean, all within a 4-hour timespan. Had a water heater leak that flooded basement. They were able to provide a fair quote and send service first thing the next morning (competitor unable to provide quote or come out to assess for 2 days). Patrick & Donny were excellent - showed up early, were professional & friendly, and had the new water heater installed and the old one hauled off (up some tricky basement stairs) in under an hour. Highly recommend.

Plenty of communication before, during and after installation. Nice job cleaning up after their work. Workmen wete willing to do some small additional work while they were here for no additional charge. Follow up visit to tweak the new system was prompt and thorough. People at the office and in our home were all pleasant and cooperative. They did all the paperwork for rebates and warranty regiatration. Could not be more pleased with the project and followup.

The team at Tyler just installed two Carrier Infinity air source heat pumps for us, and did an exceptional job from start to finish! Tom was very thorough in his initial evaluation of our home to size the systems correctly. Pat and Fred handled the 3 day installation in an extremely efficient, professional, and friendly manner. They answered all the questions we had, and walked us through all aspects of the installation, and operation of the system when the install was completed. We’re extremely happy with the job they did, and we’ll be reaching out to Tyler when the time comes to add a ductless mini-split system for a finished attic project.

In order to avoid the skyrocketing price of heating oil, I decided to switch to heat pump earlier this year. After a lengthy and exhaustive research, Tyler has by far the most relevant expertise and experience in air-source heat pump. The system is not cheap, but the installation done by Patrick and Fred is very professional. I am a happy customer.

Updated 8/30/22 - Had to have my gas water heater replaced. Excellent service from start to finish. Called in the AM and was able to get the new unit installed that afternoon. I always have a positive experience with Tyler and today was no exception. Chris was punctual, professional and courteous.I had a 4 zone gas boiler and a two unit mini-split AC/heat system installed last year (2018). Everyone was professional and they all did a great job, from the sales rep to all the installers. Today I had both systems serviced. Again, excellent service, professionally done. My Central air unit went out on the hottest day of the summer, so I called a bunch of numbers to see who I could get to repair my unit. Tyler's was the cost-effective for the visit and they were willing to come out the following day. They followed up and kept in touch, from the receptionist who answered the phone to the technician. They provided me with and explained my financing options. After the repair, they sent me a hand written card thanking me for my business. I am pretty pleased with the level of service I received.

Ryan and Chuck came out and did an awesome job installing my new heat pump system, installing new thermostats and removing the old units. I recently had to replace my central air conditioning unit. I contacted 4 companies and received quotes from all of them.My first good impression of this company was when I met James H. who came to my house as their sales rep. He was absolutely professional. He worked with me on several occasions to make sure the quote was clear and well explained. They were not the lowest quote BUT they were certainly in the ballpark and I realized they were giving me greater value than the other companies that were all taking short cuts...reusing of old parts!! etc...The first group of installers (Vinnie and Brendan) worked nonstop in a great team effort. I have had a lot of people do work in my house before, and these guys were an absolute pleasure to have working here the entire day.The second group of installers (Vinnie again and Justin) were just a continuation of the first good experience.I plan to continue with Tyler for maintenance. The grade I give this company is an A+. I dont give too many A grades by the way!UPDATE: 5/16/22This year I decided to have Tyler do the annual maintenance on my central AC. The technician CHRIS was excellent. I found him to be efficient, and professional and at the same time, friendly. I had a problem up in the attic and Chris was extremely careful. A+ Good job Chris!!

Very Professional and personal in there approach to our needs. I received many quotes prior to using this company. Many of the quotes where close. So it came down to who was the most responsive. Tyler won out. Every question was answered either on the spot or very soon after. We dealt mostly with Chris their Technician. He is truly the best. We had issues with our Combo Boiler installed by another company. Chris took his time and dug deep to find out the reason for our issues. Truly appreciate him and this Company. Fred and Patrick were our installers for a new AC/Heat system in our older house. They were incredibly conscientious, punctual, and aware of the disruption this type of project involves. There were a couple glitches: one due to the nature of our deteriorating plaster which in 2 places crumbled when they were installing air vents in the ceiling and one involving a mistake in what they were given & brought to install. They handled both well and although I have to finish the second coat of compound around 2 of the vents & sand it to paint, they did fill the large space of crumbled plaster in on the spot.Overall, we are very pleased with the work they did and would definitely recommend both them as installers and Tyler, the company they work for.

Incredible job by Pat & Fred installing central air on our second floor and ductless on first floor. They were punctual, friendly and patient with kids underfoot, very neat and detail oriented. Very impressed with cleanup! And the new systems seem to be working great.

I recently had a ductless AC system installed by Tyler Heating & Cooling, and every aspect of the process was positive. I had two previous consults, but the techs/sales people just tried to talk me into central air, despite the fact that I had spent about a year researching and was absolutely confident in my decision to go with ductless. Donny didn't waste any of my time trying to talk me in to something I didn't want or need; in fact, he reinforced the benefits of ductless, especially for a home like mine (small cape). Everything else was totally seamless - the quote, scheduling, even their coordination with my electrician. The installers (Vincent and Steven) showed up right on time the morning of the install, and they were totally polite, respectful, and obviously very competent. Cinda in the office was also fantastic to work with - super responsive, and helped make the whole process totally seamless. I'm also very happy with the units themselves! Overall, a very positive experience!

Surpassed all expectations!!! Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration LLC came out Wednesday and Thursday last week to install our ductless AC units. We were told an 8-10 AM arrival window and they were here by five after 8, very punctual! The entire team was extremely respectful of the house, laying tarps on the carpets, wearing plastic booties over their shoes and wore their masks the whole time. They put in a 10 hour day on day one, almost the same amount the next day, super impressive, even our dog was comfortable around them and she's a very good judge of character! :) Everything was explained during the installation process, all questions were answered, and the job was very thorough! Very good price as well! I would definitely recommend them to family and friends in the future!!

I have had Tyler now for 3 years...hired them in 2018 for a complete replacement of home heating (conversion to gas) and new central A/C. Tyler did a great job on the installation and after several years of service contracts they continue to deliver outstanding service. The systems work flawlessly and the follow-up and preventive maintenance visits are always well scheduled and professionally done. All their staff is very friendly and it is a great feeling to know they have 24/7 heating service available. I highly recommend Tyler on all levels.

We had our central air conditioning system replaced by Tyler and from the beginning through the job itself, they were responsive, easy to work with, and professional. We had contracted with them last year but decided to wait until spring 2021 to have the install. Despite the long time before the job, they contacted us before the start date, including having pulled the town permit. Not having to call to remind them was already a very good sign of how they do business. The day of the installation, they arrived on-time, worked all day, and left the house and outside clean and free of any debris or old parts. Fred and Vincent, the technicians on the job, were terrific. Throughout the day, they were as unobtrusive as they could be and very easy to talk to. They tested the system and answered all our questions.Donny was our first contact in the beginning but unlike many previous salesmen we have dealt with over the years, he was there the day of the job as well, making sure everything was set. When we discovered a small (very fixable) issue, we called the next day at 8 AM and were told someone would be there between 10 and 12. Donny was at our house at around 8:30 and addressed the problem. He really stands by the company and the service they provide.A shout out should also go to the front office staff who were always friendly, courteous, and coordinated things well. Indeed, based on the experience we had with the installation, we are now having Tyler service our ductless air conditioner. In short, we can recommend Tyler without reservation.

Tyler Heating and AC is a terrific place to work with, I had the pleasure of working with Don, Vincent and Fred. All 3 guys were extremely knowledgeable about their craft. Don helped me navigate a more complex landscape than I expected and I am very please with the system I installed. In 6 days, Vincent and Fred installed the system working with us the whole time. They stopped to explain what they were doing and walked us through any questions. The craftmanship of the duct wok is outstanding. They always left their work site very tidy. Jonathan was professional fast and really tried to serve the customer correctly. He fixed the heating issue and gave me tips on avoiding the problem in the future. when you have no heat in the winter water in the basement and within 2 hours of my phone call it was resolved , I would say that is pretty good! I am not a novice at home ownership and I couldn't ask for a better response from Tyler and especially Jonathan whose quick diagnose, problem fix and professional treatment was excellent.

It's our first experience with them (our normal company was unavailable for weeks), so this is just the initial review. First, they were able to fit is in on short notice due to a cancellation the same day I called which is worth a star all by itself. Chris was polite and seemed thorough (comparing with the many previous service/cleaning appointments in the past). He was unable to recreate an ignition problem we occasionally had, but said that if the general service didn't resolve it (which it did) to just let them know and they would come back. I'm generally wary of heating/cooling companies so this was a pleasant start.

Had a different company scheduled to come clean out our furnace, guy came and said we don't work on oil furnace. Called Tyler Heating and the lady got us an appointment the same day!!! Technican Chris was awesome! I would highly recommend the company. Only downfall was the price for a cleaning was a little steep but the fact that they came the same say when other places are booked out for months was amazing. So thankful.

After calling multiple companies to get estimates for a replacement gas furnace boiler I selected Tyler Heating. The installers were on time and totally professional in their work methods. They also gave me detailed operation information on the system installed November 14 2020 . I would highly recommend this company for anyone who needs work on their heating systems. We had an outstanding experience with the team at Tyler! Our project was a big and complex one--transfer from oil to natural gas, a new boiler, relocation of baseboard heating elements, ductless AC system throughout the house, and new smart thermostats. They did a fine job replacing an old and failed hot water heater. Donny and Patrick came. They are polite, professional, and know what they are doing. I am a repeat customer from an excellent AC installation they did for me in May of 2018. Consistently good, I highly recommend!
